(Fraz. Madonna Di Como Alba - 20 hectares of Vineyards)

Production of: Muscat/Moscato, Dolcetto, Barbera, Nebbiolo D'Alba.

We have decided to put the spacer springs in the vineyards, unlike the classical system of assemblage of the double threads wound to the pole drawing notable advantages of it.

  • 10% of double threads entered the shoots but with the use of the springs 75% will enter with more shoots on the springs, notably reducing the job.
  • As the width between two buttonholes is greater in comparison to the double threads, the shoots have more breadths avoiding the grapes to pile intermediately. But if for some reason, during the growth, a shoot escapes the spring, it is easier to reinsert to its post unlike the double thread.
  • It is easily erectable on any type of pole, demands become faster, making it a one man's job with the possibility to narrow two hectares of vineyards per day, giving wine-growers extra time on working on other tasks in their vineyards.
